About Us

The Emerging Antibiotic Resistance Society (EARS) is an Indian Society, which seeks to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the incidence, causes and patterns of AMR in the country with the aim of redefining the way it is being currently handled. The idea, overall, is to adopt a multi-pronged approach so that multiple solutions directed at various aspects of the problem blend seamlessly and a comprehensive strategy emerges.

Encouraging research and innovation, rationalizing antibiotic use, facilitating surveillance programs and raising awareness are critical components of EARS DNA. Ultimately, EARS seeks to become a rallying point in the long-winded struggle against emerging antimicrobial resistance.
